Golden Village started its business operations and make a mark on the island with the opening of Singapore, the first screen multiplex 10 AOS Yishun May 28, 1992. The circuit quickly spread to nearly every corner of the country with subsequent openings in Bishan (1993), Tiong Bahru (1994), Jurong Point (1995), Tampines Mall (1996), Plaza de la Marina (1996), Plaza Singapura (1998), Great World City (1999) and now VivoCity (2006), Singapore, the largest system multiplex.
