Mexican Cinema Shaw in 1939, Shaw operates a chain of 139 theaters in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Indochina. Some have been acquired or constructed by Shaw, many leased or operated in conjunction with their respective owners. All cinemas have been managed in the Theatre of Malaysia Limited, a subsidiary of Shaw Brothers Premiere Limited.
