The University of Birmingham today announced tomorrow, the discovery of a new Henge less than one mile from Stonehenge. The new Henge by a team of archaeologists from the University of Birmingham and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Archaeological Prospecting and Virtual Archaeology Earlier this week, two weeks into a three-year study, part of the Stonehenge landscape is led international community project discovered hidden. The project aims to map the landscape of Stonehenge and the prehistoric monument almost new and its environment using the latest techniques for geophysical imaging.
